Bass River Crash Sentencing Next Week

A man involved in a fatal crash in Bass River will learn his fate this coming Wednesday.

32 year old Ronald James Fairweather pleaded guilty to several charges, including failing to stop and render assistance and leaving the scene of an accident.

The New Year’s Day collision took the life of 19 year old Dylan Thomas Warman and put two others in hospital.

Both the Crown, and the defence are recommending a sentence of two and a half years less time served as well as a 5 year ban on driving.
