The sixth edition of the Tour of Hope will kick off tomorrow.
The bicycle tour of New Brunswick is raising money for the oncology centre at the Georges Dumont Hospital.
Tour of Hope co-chair Dr. Carole Williams says the 50 cyclists taking part – including herself – will try to exceed their goal.
“We set our goal at $80,000, taking into consideration the number of cyclists. But we will try to exceed out expectations,” she notes.
The cyclists will leave Edmundston on Saturday morning at 6:30 and will pass through northern New Brunswick and Kent County before arriving in Moncton late Sunday afternoon.
