At least half a dozen RCMP vehicles were at a stretch of buildings along West Lane in Moncton on Thursday.
New Brunswick RCMP’s Major Crime Unit is investigating after a body was discovered late Wednesday afternoon.
Area resident Paul Melanson says there were police there late Wednesday and all Thursday.
The area surrounding two buildings and a driveway was blocked off with yellow police tape, with a forensic identification services van present as well.
Police officers were seen interviewing at least two people in the area.
Officers were also present taking photographs, with members entering and leaving the two buildings repeatedly over the course of a couple hours.
No further details have been released by the RCMP on identity, or cause of death.
