Festival Inspire Unveils Beautiful Works Of Art For Greater Moncton

If you are walking along the Riverfront Trail in Moncton, glancing over at the back of the buildings, you may notice a giant turtle.

The first masterpiece of Festival Inspire for this year was unveiled yesterday.

It is a giant turtle, and is on display on the back of a building on Assomption Blvd.

It was created by Bordallo II, who is an artist from Portugal, working all around the world to highlight environmental problems related to pollution.

He uses garbage, plastics and materials abandoned by humans and turn them into 3D sculptures. More than 1 tonne of plastic was saved from the dump to create this beautiful piece of art..

Several other pieces of art can also be found in Greater Moncton, that are wonderful creations by talented artists as well.
