The City of Moncton is reminding people of road closures over the next few days for the Atlantic Nationals.
Starting today at 1, Main Street will be closed from Mechanic to Downing until 3 Saturday morning.
Main Street will be closed from Mechanic to Lutz starting at 6AM Friday and running til 3AM Saturday.
Botsford from Main to Queen will also be closed, as will be Westmorland from Main to the Moncton Market.
Downing Street will also be closed.
The City is asking motorists to use alternate routes when at all possible, and apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but also encourages travellers to check out the events.
Parking Restrictions:
Motorists are asked to respect restricted parking areas and to park in assigned areas around Centennial Park on July 8 and 9 during Atlantic Nationals.
Noise By-Law exemption:
On Friday, July 7 an exemption has been granted to allow the Atlantic Nationals musical entertainment to continue between 11 p.m. and midnight.
