Codiac RCMP are searching for a man wanted in relation to an armed robbery Friday night.
Corporal Paré Lemire says they were called shortly before 11 Friday night to the Subway restaurant attached to Roy’s Convenience Store at 184 Mountain Road.
“The male came inside the store and tried to buy some cookies, and when the employee asked him to play, the male suspect had a knife on him, and asked for the money of the cash [drawer] instead of paying,” says Lemire.
Lemire says they are looking for a 20 to 30 year old white man, about 5’11” tall, weighing about 150 pounds, with black hair.
He adds the suspect was wearing a grey and black hoodie with dark pants, brown shoes, and an orange toque.
Lemire says no one was injured, and the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
