NS RCMP Honour Cst. Frank Deschênes With Memorial Wall Plaque

RCMP in Nova Scotia held a memorial ceremony yesterday in honour of Constable Frank Deschênes who died more than a year ago in the course of duty.

On September 12th, 2017, Deschênes was struck and killed by a vehicle while helping motorists on the side of Highway 2 in Memramcook.

A photo and plaque with his name on it were recently added to the Memorial Wall at Nova Scotia RCMP Headquarters.

They say it’s a way for friends, family, and employees remember those who lost their lives on duty.

The New Brunswick born Deschênes was working for the Amherst RCMP Detachment at the time of his death.
