Despite the legalization of recreational cannabis this week, many will agree a stigma still surrounds the drug.
James (who didn’t want to give his last name) was one of the first customers at Cannabis NB in Moncton when it opened Wednesday.
While he doesn’t partake very often, he feels proud Canada has legalized cannabis.
James adds as long as you’re doing it responsibly and in a controlled environment, he doesn’t see many negatives.
After nearly a century of prohibition, James hopes that legalization will finally help eradicate that stigma.
He adds there shouldn’t be any shame attached to doing something that is now legal.
