Winter Storms Keep Pounding NB

Winter is not going away just yet as another storm system moves into New Brunswick tonight.

On the heels of yesterday’s 15.3 cm in Metro Moncton, Environment Canada meteorologist Ian Hubbard says more snow will fall this evening.

The winds will be picking up too creating blowing snow and poor visibility at times.

Hubbard says this storm system will stick around for awhile with more snow on Saturday and it will finally taper off to flurries by Sunday.

A snowfall warning has been issued for Metro Moncton with 20-30 cm expected this weekend.

Believe it or not, forecasters are also watching another storm system Tuesday with more snow on the way but Environment Canada has not issued amounts for that one yet.
