The energy critic for the Opposition Conservatives in the Legislature, Jake Stewart has filed a conflict of interest complaint over the settlement the provincial government reached with Enbridge Gas.
Stewart wants to know what effect the deal will have on rates and whether users of natural gas will wind up paying more than they should.
Energy Minister Rick Doucet argues the government has stabalised rates and adds the Energy and Utilities Board, after 2020, has full authority to make the determination of rates.
