Premier Brian Gallant issued a special message as we celebrate New Brunswick day.
He says it is a great time to reflect on what makes our province the best place to live, work and raise a family.
He adds our province is not only rich in its cultural history and natural beauty, but it is also rich in its diverse and strong people, “Whether you are of British, Acadian, Brayon, Irish, Dutch, Scottish, Asian, Middle Eastern, Syrian or First Nation ancestry, this is a time to celebrate the place we call home.”

Gallant says, ” Not only is New Brunswick rich in its cultural history and natural beauty, but it is also rich in its diverse and strong people. Together, New Brunswickers form dynamic, resilient and innovative communities.
The Premier also says he would like to see the operating room at Charlotte County Hospital remain open. Horizon Health decided to close the operating room because the lone surgeon in St. Stephen is retiring and a replacement hasn’t been found.
