Residents surrounding Fairview Knoll Park in northeast Moncton may want to take note of a major construction project getting underway.
In an effort to reduce flooding issues in the neighbourhood, the city is moving ahead with building a retention pond in the park.
Dust, noise and heavy equipment may be common over the next few weeks as the work is carried out.
The work will begin at 7am and may continue as late as 11pm weekdays with some work on Saturdays too.
Fairview Knoll Park will be partially closed and most of the trails will not be accessible during construction.
