Founder & CEO of the matchmaking agency Elite Connections Sherri Murphy says online dating can be convenient, but there are safety factors to take into account.
Murphy says you have to be cautious, move slowly, always meet in a public place and no matter how nice you think the person is, you have to take the time to really get to know them.
Murphy says online dating is better then not going out at all and calls it a very easy way to meet people.
Roughly 70 percent of online dating users are believed to be married or living with someone.
