The controversial bill involving doctor assisted death has officially become law.
The bill passed through the Senate yesterday, with the provision that medically assisted dying will be limited to terminally ill patients.
The Senate passed an amendment to include people who aren’t necessarily near death, but the House of Commons rejected it.
It was approved with a vote of 44-28.
