More training is being offered by the Multicultural Association of the Greater Moncton Area (MAGMA), that will assist in dealing with refugees who choose to live in Moncton.
The public training session is called, “Refugees,Trauma and PTSD: Basic Concepts and Practical Advice for Developing Trauma-Informed Programs and Services Training,”
It is being held tomorrow night from 6pm until 8pm at the Community Peace Centre on Church Street..
The two-hour session will look at trauma and traumatic stress symptoms within refugee populations.
It will also focus on local program development.
