The Financial and Consumer Services Commission releasing an e-book for parents that aims to make having the often dreaded money-talk with kids a little less intimidating.
It’s called Smart Tips: Helping the next generation spend smart and Senior Education Coordinator Marissa Sollows says it’s good to talk about money when people are younger so you can help them form strong and smart saving habits.
The e-book was developed after the first year of the Smart Tips public awareness campaign which gave people in the province the chance to share advice about money with young people.
