Parents will now be able to view inspection reports for licensed childcare facilities in New Brunswick. They are available online.
Inspections are conducted on an annual basis. They use a list of criteria, that determines whether or not the operator is meting all health and safety regulations and standards.
Education Minister Serge Rousselle says parents and guardians have a right to know their children are being cared for in a safe, secure and healthy learning environment, and that is why it is important that the daycare inspection reports are available online.
