Sistema NB has impacted the lives of hundreds of children across the province.
It is a program that allows children to build motivation, discipline, teamwork, confidence and self esteem through learning to play an instrument and music.
Sistema NB began in 2009, and they had hoped for 20 or 30 children. They received 180 applications and 50 children were chosen to participate in Moncton that year.
Since then, they have grown to four centres in the province, Moncton, Saint John, Richibucto and the Tobique First Nation, and they now have about 475 children participating everyday.
