Record Cold In Moncton

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any colder this winter… well it did.

Environment Canada says this morning’s unofficial low of -25.3 Celsius at the Greater Moncton International Airport was cold enough to break a record.

The previous low for this date was -23.9 from 1972.

Record lows were also broken this morning in Bouctouche, Caraquet and Point Lepreau.
