So how are the roads in the City of Moncton this morning?
Many crews are out on a bit of a rest at this hour, after going steady since 5am yesterday. They were called in at around midnight.
General Foreman with the City of Moncton Public Works Department Kevin Allen says they’re using some of their back up snow plow operators right now to keep things opened up.
All crews will be back at it again full force starting at around 8am.
Allen says the less motorists on the streets the better. It makes the process of digging out a little easier with less cars on the road.
Allen expects it will be at least three weeks before they get this remanants of this storm totally cleaned up, and the streets back into the shape where residents would like to see them.
