Another winter blast is headed our way, and Environment Canada is forecasting hazardous conditions.
We are now under a winter storm warning, due to a low pressure system developing off the U.S. Seaboard today. It is expected to intensify into a large winter storm as it moves slowly northeastward toward the Maritimes later tonight and Tuesday.
Heavy snow will develop overnight or early Tuesday morning, and will come with strong wind gusts upward of 90 kilometres an hour.
Snowfall amounts of 15 to 30 cm are expected.
