A man wanted in a fatal hit and run crash in Kent County is now in police custody.
RCMP say 32-year-old Ronald James Fairweather was apprehended around 2 o’clock this afternoon at his home on Cedar Street in Moncton.
Four charges were laid against Fairweather in Moncton court this week including failing to stop at an accident causing death and operating a vehicle in a dangerous manner.
A judge issued a warrant for his arrest.
On New Year’s Day, Mounties say a man driving a stolen truck collided with a vehicle in Bass River.
A 19-year-old man driving the vehicle was killed while two other men were sent to hospital with serious injuries.
