What would you do if you won the lottery?
More than 900 Atlantic Canadians have had to make that decision in 2014. They’ve all been winners of more than $10, 000 or more after purchasing a lotto ticket. Of the winners, there were 17 millionaires and multi millionaires.
Win/Experience Coordinator with Atlantic Lottery Corporation Danielle Pieroni says for the most part, winners in Atlantic Canada are very responsible with their money, making investments, by paying off their mortgage, saving for retirement, or setting up education trust funds for their kids.
Pieroni says the top two things that winners have said they’ll do with their money are buying a new vehicle, and taking a vacation.
