NB Gas Prices Increase For First Time In Weeks

A very slight increase in the price of gas this morning.

The Energy and Utilities Board made its price adjustment overnight. Regular self serve gas prices are up by 0.9 cents. Most stations in Moncton are selling for around 116.1 this morning.

Senior petroleum analyst Dan McTeague with www.Gasbuddy.com doesn’t anticipate much of a change over the next couple of months.

He says, “I don’t see the prices going up too high in New Brunswick. What you see is pretty much you are going to get on the gasoline side.”

Diesel is also up by 1.1 cents a litre.

Furnace oil is up by point nine, and propane increases by 0.3 cents a litre.
