Remembrance Day In Metro Moncton

Canadians will pay tribute to our veterans on Tuesday and remember the brave men and women who sacrificed their lives for our country.

Metro Moncton is hosting several Remembrance Day ceremonies and this year may have an even deeper meaning for many with two Canadian soldiers killed recently in Ontario and Quebec and the RCMP shootings in June.

The largest event to remember those who fought for our freedom will be held at the Coliseum starting at 10:30-am hosted by the Royal Canadian Legion.

Also in Moncton, the Sunny Brae Legion is hosting a parade that will leave the legion branch on Broadway Street at 10:40-am and head to the Cenotaph on Massey Avenue.

In Dieppe, a parade and ceremony will take place at Anna-Malenfant School, starting at 11-am.

A service is being held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Riverview beginning at 10:50-am.
