Two men from the Irishtown area are facing drug charges after Mounties carried out a search warrant at a home earlier this month and seized 100 marijuana plants and a large quantity of dried marijuana.
Police say the plants alone had the potential to yield 50,000 joints.
RCMP say a 65-year-old man and a 28-year-old man, both from McQuade, were arrested for production of marijuana and possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
They were released on a promise to appear in court at a later date.
