The Indigo “Love of Reading Foundation” community fundraising program, will benefit a local school.
Queen Elizabeth School in Moncton is hoping to fill its Library with books in an effort to increase literacy rates.
School Spokesperson Heather Sutherland says all it takes, is a visit to the ndigo Adopt a School website, and a donation if you are able, “They will solicit donations for us, through the store, and also through their website, www.adoptaschool.indigo.ca
Sutherland says they hope to raise around $5, 000 dollars, which would amount to one book for each student at Queen Elizabeth School.
The school with the most “Adopters” will also receive an additional $10, 000 dollars.
