You might be receiving a postcard in the mail showing an aborted baby. It’s part of a campaign launched by National anti-abortion youth organisations against Provincial Liberal leader Brian Gallant’s pro-abortion stance.
Alissa Golob of Campaign Life Coalition Youth says Gallant is being targeted because, according to polling at least, he’s the frontunner.
She claims there are Liberal candidates who are pro-life but are going along with Gallant in order to run for the part in the provincial election.
Golob says they’re hoping to send the postcard to at least 20 thousand homes across the province and are targeting Gallant because, according to the polls, he’s the front runner.
We asked Golob if the graphic nature of the postcard might turn voters off. She says this same campaign has been tried elsewhere and been successful.
