March 1, 1955  –  April 18, 2026

Denise Leger, 71, of Moncton, passed away peacefully at The Moncton Hospital on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Born and raised in Sunny Brae, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Dora (nee Desroches) Leger.

Her illness was sudden and brief. Even so, she showed remarkable strength and courage while facing each moment with determination. She fought hard until the very end, holding on to the love of those around her.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Nicole LeBlanc (Serge) and Marcel Leger (Sandra Dunn); grandchildren, Simon LeBlanc and Abby Leger; sister, Gisele Smith (Bob); brother, Mike Leger (late Sharon Mullins); as well as her friends and many extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Vince Leger; and son, Martin Leger.

Visitation at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd, Moncton (506-858-1995) on Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, April 24, 2026 at 11:00 am from Fergusons Funeral Home Chapel. A reception will follow in the Funeral Home Reception Centre.
