It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Roger J. Gaudet, 62, surrounded by family, on Monday, April 21st, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Moncton, he was the son of the late Thomas and the late Irène Gaudet (Hébert).
Roger will be sadly missed by his siblings: Théophile Gaudet (Thérèse) of Memramcook, Murielle Gaudet of Moncton, Tom Gaudet (Angie) of Memramcook, John Gaudet (Stephanie) of Salisbury, Maurise LeBlanc (Raymond) of Moncton, Diane Gaudet (Kevin) of Shediac, Irène Gaudet of Moncton, and Donald Gaudet (Lorraine) of Dieppe; his stepdaughters: Lorraine and Donna; his partner, Lise Boudreau of Shediac; as well as several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by the love of his life, Margaret Turner; as well as his stepchildren: Kim and David.
Visitations will be held at Passage ~ Chartersville (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe) on Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, from 1:00pm until 4:00pm. In respect to the family’s wishes there will be no funeral service. A graveside service will take place at Our-Lady-of-Calvary Cemetery in Dieppe at a later date.
Donations in Roger’s memory can be made to the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the NB Lung Association.
