Shediac, NB – With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of a beloved father, son, and friend, Maurice Vallerie Boudreau

He was a man who found joy in life’s simple and meaningful moments. Whether casting a line out on the water, finding peace in the quiet of fishing, or immersing himself in the excitement of sports, he lived with a passionate and grounded spirit. Hockey and golf were more than just games to him—they were moments of connection, laughter, and memories shared with those he loved.

As a father, he was a steady and loving presence—strong, caring, and devoted. His love for his son, Brett, was wholehearted and unwavering—a bond built on deep care, pride, and quiet strength. Brett was truly a part of his heart, and that love will live on forever.
As a son, he was deeply cherished, a source of pride and love. And as a friend, he was loyal, genuine, and always there when it mattered most. His laughter, his stories, and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He also carried a love that defined his life. His heart belonged to Karen, Brett’s mother, who passed 6 years ago. She was his whole world—his partner, his home, and his greatest love. Not a day went by that he didn’t carry her in his heart. There is comfort in knowing that they are now reunited, together again after all this time.

Though he may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories we hold, the lessons he taught, and the love he gave so freely. He will forever be remembered in quiet mornings by the water, in the thrill of a game, and in the hearts of those who loved him.

He loved and adored all his grandkids.

Forever loved. Forever missed. Never forgotten.

A time to Celebrate Maurice’s life will be held from Passage, 3754 Route 134, Shediac Bridge, NB, (506) 532-1050, on Thursday, March 26th, 2026, from 2 to 4 pm.
