Dieppe, NB – It is with heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Velma LeBlanc of Residence Oasis in Dieppe, that occurred on Monday, February 16th, 2026, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center in Moncton.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Camille Belliveau and the late Eva (Gauvin) Belliveau.
She will be sadly missed by her three children: Janice (Joseph) Poirier of Dieppe, Charlene (Terry) McKee of Moncton, and Daniel of Moncton; her six grandchildren: Rejean, Sylvie, Jessica, Kenny, Devan, and Jayden; her two great grandchildren: Charlotte and Valérie; her two brothers: Armand (late Irene) of Moncton, and Jean-Paul (Lucille) of Dieppe; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Willie (2018).
Visitation will be held from Passage, 363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, (506) 857-1901, on Thursday, February 19th, from 9 to 10:45 am only, followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 11 am. Interment will be held at Saint-Anselme parish cemetery in Dieppe.
