1934 – 2026

Mary Gould of Pine Glen, NB, passed away peacefully with family by her side at The Moncton Hospital on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

Born in Riverglade, NB, she was the daughter of the late Frank Soloman and Effie Schofield LeFurgey.

Mary enjoyed the simple pleasures in life — reading, writing, spending time with her family, and, above all, her love for Jesus.

She is survived by her daughters: Nancy LeBlanc (Daniel) of Stoney Creek; Barbara Carson (Brock) of Weldon; Betty Gould (Lyndsey Weir) of Turtle Creek; Margaret Gould of Riverview; Donna Gould of Moncton; and Paula Gould of Riverview; her sons: Ricky of Pine Glen and Percy Gould of Moncton; her grandchildren: Danny “DJ,” Adam, Austin, Jordan, Rosemary, Misty, Roxanne, Derek, Patrick, Samantha, Shyanne, and Zylas; as well as 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Mary was predeceased by her beloved husband, Lloyd Gould (2014); her grandson, Garnet; her sister, Charity Boucher; and her brothers, Frank LeFurgey and Les LeFurgey.

Visitation will be held at Fergusons Riverview Funeral Centre, 214 Pine Glen Rd. Riverview (506) 857-9544 on Thursday, February 19, 2026 at 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm.
