Southeast RCMP have confirmed that a woman has died after her car collided with the back end of a school bus in Grand Barachois Monday morning.
Police say the 22-year-old Haute-Aboujagane woman was seriously injured and later passed away in hospital.
The crash happened while the bus had stopped to pick up students on Route 133 around 7:30am Monday.
However, the car was pinned under the bus and first responders had to extract the woman from the vehicle.
No students were hurt.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
