There are a number of business organizations including the Chambers of Commerce for Saint John, Moncton and Fredericton have teamed up to implement a pre-election strategy.
It’s called We Choose Growth and contains a number of key issues they want all the parties to address during the campaign and whoever forms a government to hopefully implement. Saint John Regional Chamber CEO David Duplisea says it all comes down to five main pillars.
” What we have decided to do is took look at five areas that we can better work with the government from economic development, labour force development, financial management with respect to the deficit and debt reduction as well as natural resources,” says Duplisea.
Duplisea says so far 89 businesses have signed on to the initiative and they are hoping to keep it on the front-burner during the upcoming campaign.
