A warning from the Conservation Council that models show our region is in store for torrential rainstorms, the likes of which caused flooded basements and washed out roads on September 30th.
The Conservation Council’s Stephanie Merrill says we need a two pronged approach to climate change.
One is to establish specific targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions which among the federal parties, only the NDP and Greens have done and the other is for bigger and better storm drainage and waste water systems to be built to handle all that water.
