The victim of a shooting early Friday morning in Fredericton remains in hospital in stable condition.
That’s according to an update from Fredericton Police issued this afternoon.
Officers were called to a home on the north side of the city shortly after 4:30 where they found a man with a gun shot wound.
A 56-year old man was arrested a short distance away.
Police say the victim and suspect are known to one another.
The suspect will be facing several charges, including weapons related offences – likely via weekend remand.
