About 20 international students attending Universite de Moncton have been displaced from their apartment building by fire.
The Red Cross is helping the students with emergency food and accommodations.
The fire broke in the kitchen around noon today in one of the units at 8 Curry Street in Sunnybrae.
Smoke and water damage means the students will not be able to return home for several days while cleanup is completed.
No one was hurt.
