After a dreadful winter and early spring in New Brunswick, the Weather Network is delivering some good news in its summer forecast.
Meteorologist Doug Gilham says we can expect a somewhat normal June, July and August.
“We don’t think that heat will be the dominant story of the summer. But we do expect an abundance of pleasant days with high temperatures in the mid-to-high 20s Celsius. It’s certainly going to feel like summer this year,” he notes.
Gilham says precipitation should also be near normal throughout the summer.
As always, he adds we need to turn our attention to tropical storms in the Atlantic and although fewer hurricanes are expected to develop, that doesn’t mean it won’t be an impactful season.
