TransCanada Is Listening To The Concerns Of First Nations

TransCanada says engagement with First Nations is critical part of what they are doing.

Tim DuBoyce tells CHSJ News says the company has had thousands of meetings with first nations leaders and councils along the proposed Energy East pipeline route.

He says they take concerns about water and traditional land use very seriously.

DuBoyce says the conversations they are having will allow them to find ways to mitigate any impacts from the project.
