Thousands of residents from Moncton and surrounding areas are expected to make their way to the Moncton Colliseum on Saturday for the 3rd Annual Touch A Truck Event in support of the Juvenile Diabetes Reasearch Foundation.
Sarah Robinson, Manager for the Moncton Chapter of JDRF tells us, many of their local sponsors have done something extra special for our local kids.
She says many have sponsored tickets for schools so that students can attend the event for free.
Organizers are expecting as many or more in attendance for this year’s event.
Last year saw approximately 10,000 people attend from the region.
