Last year, over 12, 000 New Brunswickers were injured on the job while 13 workers lost their lives because of workplace injuries.
A Day of Mourning is being held today to remember those who died, were injured or became ill at work.
A commemoration in Moncton will be held at Riverfront Park, starting at noon.
