“The Farmer’s Truck” Looking To Build On Success For Next Year

After a fantastic first summer open, the mobile Farmer’s Truck is looking to the future.

Fred Laforge is the CEO and founder of The Farmer’s Truck.

He says now they are closed for the winter, they have a lot of work to do.

“We have all kinds of ideas, all kinds of aspirations as to where the business needs to go, we are definitely looking at franchising the model,” says Laforge.

Laforge says there might be two or even three trucks out on the road next summer as they are already in talks with several people.

He says they are planning more products available for next year.

“What we want to do is look at all these meat, eggs cheese, locally made products and see how we can accommodate that,” says Laforge.

He says they averaged 60 to 80 people per day, serving local products 6 days a week for three months.
