Many parents spent yesterday putting labels on school supplies, packing lunches and laying out clothes for the first day back to school.
Students in both Anglophone and Francophone school districts head back to class this morning.
Many of the students across the region are bus students, and if you’re still unsure of what bus your child should be on, bus routes can be found on the district websites. http://web1.nbed.nb.ca/sites/ASD-E/transportation/Pages/Bus-Routes.aspx or

If you are a motorist travelling behind a bus this morning, patience is the key. Children are often excited to get back to school, and may be a little more chatty than usual, seeing their friends for the first time since the school year ended. Bus drivers may take a little more time to get the kids settled before moving onto the next stop.
Motorists should also watch their speed, slowing down in school zones, and keeping a close eye out for children who may be rushing to cross the street.
