STORM CENTRAL: Another Winter Storm Hits New Brunswick

As if we hadn’t had enough of winter already.

We are under another winter storm warning and it is currently hitting our region, hard.

There’s heavy snow at this hour, with limited visibility on roads and highways.

RCMP in New Brunswick are advising that travel on all of Route 1 is not advised.

All other roads are a mess this morning, are snow packed, with icy spots underneath, so if you are headed out, be sure to take it very slow and easy, and give yourself lots of extra time.

Codiac Transpo buses are running this morning, but there are a couple of delays. Champlain Mall is open, but we do have a number of cancellations.

We have a full list of cancellations on our website, also under the newslink.

Environment Canada is calling for up to 35 centimetres total by the time it is all over.

Winds are expected to pose a problem throughout the day with wind gusts of up to 70 kilometres an hour…
