A festival that was to be held on Magnetic Hill this summer has been called off.
Organizers issued a release yesterday stating the the 2015 East to West festival has been cancelled.
Kingdom Come Events says that they were very excited to move the festival to Moncton, but they have been faced with several challenges that will make it impossible to organize an event of this size for 2015, and ensure it can be sustainable long term.
The release stated that they had no choice but to cancel the event and they hope the festival can return for 2016.
Last year’s festival was held in Shediac, and attracted around 10, 000 people.
Anyone who has purchased festival passes for 2015 is expected to receive a refund over the next few weeks. For more details, visit their website, http://easttowest.ca/
