Staff shortage forces temporary closure of some detox services in Moncton

Due to an ongoing shortage of nursing staff, Horizon is temporarily closing inpatient addiction treatment services at the Mapleton Road facility in Moncton.

This begins on Monday, July 3rd.

Services on Mapleton Road, including opioid replacement therapy and outpatient services, including alcohol withdrawal management services remain in place.

During the closure, patients will be redirected as required.

The hope is they will be able to reopen the Moncton detox unit later this summer.

Clients with questions about this change may call Moncton Addiction Services at 506-856-2333.
