We’re looking at a stormy day ahead.
There’s a winter storm warning in effect , or should we say spring storm?
Environment Canada Meteorologist Ian Hubbard tells us, “We’re looking at snow beginning this morning, about 20 centimetres by suppertime. We should see the winds picking up this afternoon and that is going to create some blowing snow. The snow will continue into this evening, and will end around midnight, with another 5 centimetres expected by then. Winds will also continue overnight, causing more blowing snow.”
Hubbard says, “Winter storm warnings are in effect in Southeastern and Southern New Brunswick, Saint John, Sussex, Kent County, those areas.”
He says the storm will wrap up overnight..
Motorists are advised to drive with caution on snowy roads. Blowing snow could cause visibility issues, so take care if you need to travel.
