Spaces Still Available For Coding Camps This Summer

You can expect that a computer will be a part of your child’s future in one way or another.

Many kids have taken an interest in programming, and Coding Camps Canada helps children to build their skills during the summer.

It’s a chance for children to experience computer programming and to try a variety of technologies.

There are still spaces available.

Director Jeff Hughes tells parents, not to worry, the kids don’t spend the whole day inside in front of a screen, “We spend time outside, everyday, when the weather is permitting. We also do a daily building challenge, where they work together in groups, to build bridges or huts or catapults. We really want them to focus on learning problem solving skills.”

Hughes says the favourite this year is still the Minecraft program, “We have two different camps for Minecraft, one for younger children and on for older children. That is by far, the most popular.”

Hughes says this week, they have kids building robots and exploring different circuitry.

Camps are available in Moncton, Saint John and Fredericton.
