Dollarama is recalling a toy called the ‘Skip Ball’ over concerns it may contain high levels of phthalates.
The toy is made up of a pink ankle loop and a multicolored ball, attached together by a plastic cord.
Studies suggest certain phthalates may cause reproductive and developmental abnormalities in young children when products containing the chemical are sucked or chewed on for long periods of time.

Dollarama says about 516,000 Skip Balls were sold in Canada between January 2012 and July 2018 but there have been no reports of any incidents or injuries.
If you have one of these toys, Health Canada says you should throw it away or take it back to the store for a refund.
